Cambodia projects get a boost from races clean up
A quick shout out to the dedicated volunteers who turned up to the Kangaroo Island Racing Carnival clean ups in aid of our projects in Cambodia.
We had a great roll up of familiar faces across the three separate days of the event and quite a few ones as well, which was very encouraging.
The funds raised will have a huge impact on the ground in Andong and Oddar Meanchey villages where we are supporting and empowering some of the poorest families on the planet. To put it into perspective, the final figure will cover the cost of feeding nearly 400 of the over 1,000 children we have attending our schools for an entire month or keep seven teachers in a classroom for the same period.
I've informed our amazing team in Cambodia of the success of what is one of our biggest fundraisers for the year and they would like to pass on their heartfelt akuns (thanks) for everyone's effort.
