Recent fundraisers well supported

A big thank you to Evie Pratt (aka 'Scoops), who has served in excess of 2,200 scoops of ice-cream!

I'm really pleased to be able to report that our biggest two weeks (three weekends) of fundraising activities for the year have garnered some fantastic support for our projects and delivered a terrific boost to our financial resources.

On top of the $5,000 we raised at the Kingscote show pop-up cafe, a further two fundraisers were held at the Stokes Bay Hall fireworks night last weekend and the Parndana Show on Saturday just gone.

The latter two events collectively contributed a further $2,500 to the coffers, taking the running tally for the fortnight of fundraising to an impressive $7,500.

There is a long list of people who have made these fundraisers such a success each year, but I would like to single out one particular sponsor family who continue to underwrite many of our costs which is a vital catalyst to such an impressive tally at the end of the three events. I also need to thank our chief ice cream scooper Evie Pratt (aka 'Scoops) who has booked in for some RSI treatment after running point at all three fundraisers. I crunched some numbers this morning and I estimate she delivered in excess of 2,200 spheres of creamy goodness into the waffle cones over the three days. Thanks 'Scoops'.

Our annual budget to keep the vital projects in Cambodia running regularly nudges $300,000 so we would love for you to consider partnering with us in an array of great projects across two of Cambodia's poorest provinces by making a tax deductible donation today (or any day). You can contribute directly into our Australian working account ‘Supporting Cambodia’ BSB: 015-600 Account: 1967 91878 (Please include your name and email address in the transaction for a tax receipt) or with a credit card on our donation page.

All the best,

Rob
